- I am so grateful for my daughter, Lexia, who has brought so much joy, love, music and laughter into my life. I am grateful for all my mentors: past, present (Bob & Leslie) and future, who have lovingly guided me all the times I lost my way. I am grateful that I am able to live in beautiful Costa Rica. I am grateful for my cozy, little apartment. I am grateful for the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables available to me all year round. I am grateful for my cruise travel agent job and all my wonderful clients, that has given me the freedom to work my own hours from home. I am grateful for the birds that sing their song of joy every morning at 5:00 am. I am grateful for my healthy body. I am grateful for my cozy bed and fluffy duvet that envelops me at night when it's time to sleep. I am grateful for the spiritual organization that has brought me such peace of mind over the years. I am grateful for my daughter's 2 1/2 years at Waldorf with her very special teacher Julio who loved her like a daughter. I am grateful for Lexia's new school and all the opportunities and friendships that await her. I am grateful for the choices I have in where I want to live on this planet. I am grateful for my computer and the internet that allow me this freedom to work from home and live anywhere in the world. I am grateful for all my friends past, present and future. I am grateful for my parents and all the good values they instilled within me and for loving me through all my ups and downs. Speaking of ups and downs, I am grateful for all the hard times, the deep depressions, the hopelessness and despair. as they have led me to where I am today and have given me the ability to be empathetic to others. I am grateful for the life-changing teachings I am studying. I am grateful for the sun that shines every day. I am grateful for the rain that pours down daily during the rainy season. I am so grateful for my legs, the buses and taxis that take me where I need to go. I am so grateful for the iPod that was gifted to me so I can listen to my inspirational MP3's while on the go and my 'happy tunes' that bring a smile to my face as I walk/sit on the bus.
I am grateful for all the things that are in the process of creation and manifestation such as a new laptop, a digital camera, many, many trips all around the world, a new home on a quiet street with a guest house to host all my wonderful friends of like mind when they come to Costa Rica, all the new friends I have yet to meet on this wonderful journey, a new l-shaped sofa to sink into with a good book or cuddle up with a loved one, speaking of loved-ones I am grateful for this wonderful man who will share my journey with me and I am grateful that I am able to touch the lives of so many people by helping them to see the light within themselves and thus live life more fully, with greater joy.
